The Foundation Day Celebrations of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai, were held with great devotion and enthusiasm from 25th to 30th April 2025, under the blessings of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
The Annual Public Celebrations were observed on 25th and 26th April, featuring discourses by Most Revered President Maharaj Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji and other senior monks. Bhajans rendered by monks and devotees enhanced the devotional ambience. Approximately 500 devotees participated on each day, receiving prasad.
On Saturday, 26th April, a new book titled “Awakening the Nation – Swami Vivekananda’s Vision of India”, published by Illumine Knowledge Resources, was released through the Holy Hands of Most Revered President Maharaj.
A Spiritual Retreat was organized on 27th April, providing devotees with inspiration and introspection.
On 30th April, Akshaya Tritiya and the Foundation Day of the Mumbai Centre, a special puja and Chandi Homa were performed. Most Revered President Maharaj blessed the assembled devotees in the Main Temple. Around 300 devotees participated and received prasad. The entire week’s celebrations evoked a deep spirit of spiritual unity, inspiration, and devotion.
