Ramakrishna Mission, Hatamuniguda celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21 June 2025 in the Vivekananda Hall with devotion and enthusiasm.
The programme began with Vedic chanting by the students, followed by short discourses, a lively mass PT session, and an impressive yoga display featuring various yogāsanas demonstrated by selected students.
Shri Shuvankar Chakraborty, Assistant Teacher, delivered a talk on “Yoga: Its Contribution to Global Peace and Harmony.” The Chief Guest of the programme, Swami Swasamvedyananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Visakhapatnam, spoke on the “Benefits of Yoga”, highlighting its impact on physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Sri Ranganath Banerjee, Principal, welcomed the gathering and appreciated the collective participation.
In the evening session, two inspiring documentaries – “Exploring the Yogic Path” and “Yoga: Harmony with Nature” – were screened for the students and staff.
All students and teachers took part actively in the celebrations. The programme concluded with light refreshments served to all attendees, marking the day with learning, inspiration, and harmony.
