In commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita we have conducted the following events on 7 February 2018:
Rally: 500 girl students and staff members participated in the rally and went around the Periyanaickenpalayam Village with a decorated Ratham of Swami Vivekananda and a separate ratham for Sister Nivedita.
Public Meeting: Around 2000 participants comprising of students, staff with their family and some local people attended the public meeting. Revered Swami Abhiramanandaji Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math & Mission presided over the function and delivered special address.
Debate: After the public meeting, a Debate (Pattimandram) on the topic “Which is predominant in the service of Sister Nivedita? Patriotism! Spirituality!” was conducted in Tamil by the famous speakers of Tamil Nadu.
