On the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima (10 July 2025), a Bhakta Sammelan was organized at Ramakrishna Mission, Purnea. The day’s events began with Mangala Arati, followed by Special Puja, Homa, and the devotees’ gathering.
The Bhakta Sammelan featured talks by several dignitaries and well-wishers who spoke on the life-transforming teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, and their relevance in nurturing moral and spiritual values in today’s youth and society.
Sri Vijay Khemka, Hon’ble MLA of Purnea, participated and shared his reflections on the universal message of the Holy Trio. Other speakers included Sri Jay Prakash Jha, Dr. Ram Naresh Bhakta, Prof. Usha Saran, Sri Ananta Yadav, Sri Sanjay, and Smt. Chaitali Sanyal, who all stressed the importance of character-building education.
The programme concluded with the distribution of noon prasad to all present.
