Ramakrishna Mission, Hatamuniguda, Odisha, conducted a Maternity and Child Welfare Services Programme on Friday, 18 July 2025, with generous support from the Infosys Foundation.
In this programme, 36 antenatal and postnatal mothers and 20 children (up to 3 years of age) were benefitted. The services provided included:
- General health check-ups
- Distribution of medicines, nutritional food supplements (Soya Chunks, Moong Dal, Rajma, Chhatu, Dates, Amul Spray Milk Powder), sanitary and baby care items
- Counselling sessions on nutrition, maternal care, and pre- and post-natal wellbeing
The programme was conducted by two qualified doctors and aimed to improve awareness and healthcare access among underserved mothers and children in the region.
