On the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, Bangladesh Govenment has locked down the country to curb the spread of the coronavirus. To help the poor families and daily wage earners during this lockdown, Ramakrishna Mission, Faridpur, started relief services from 31 March 2020.
The ashrama distributed ration kits to 375 families of daily wage earners in Charkamalapur, Purva Khabaspur, Singhpara and Chowk Bazar area of Faridpur.
Each ration kit contains 5 kg rice, 1 kg dal, 3 kg potato, 500 ml cooking oil, 500 gm salt, 1 pkt washing powder, and 1 pc soap.
