Ramakrishna Math, Chandipur, is serving flood affected people of Patashpur – I, Patashpur – II, and Bhagabanpur – I blocks of Purba Medinipur district. They are serving cooked food through community kitchens and distributed dry foods too to the affected people.
From 18 September to 26 September 2021, the ashrama served 1,11,711 plates of cooked food among 19,000 people for the last 9 days. The ashrama also served 9635 packets (500gm Chira & 200gm Sugar) dry ration among 38,540 people.
