As part of Covid-19 relief measures to the people affected by a long lockdown in Sri Lanka, the Batticaloa sub-centre of Ramakrishna Mission, Colombo, distributed groceries to 400 poor families in the distant Mannar district and 100 poor families in Batticaloa district.
In total 2500 Kgs of Rice, 1900 Kgs of Flour, 500 Kgs of Sugar, 500 Kgs of Pulses, 50 Kgs of peanuts, 50 Kgs of Tea powder, 500 packets of Nutrient powder and 500 packets of Soya chunks were distributed on 25 & 26 September 2021.”
