The newly constructed office block cum monks’ quarters of our Manasadwip centre has been inaugurated on 18 November 2021, the holy janmatithi of Revered Swami Vijnanananda ji Maharaj, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna and the 4th President of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission. Swami Vibhatmananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Ashrama & Ramakrishna Mission, Dinajpur, Bangladesh inaugurated virtually from Dhaka as he could not obtain visa to India. Swami Divyarupanandaji, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Naora, was present and inaugurated the office block and monks’ quarters’.
There was no formal meeting because of Covid 19 pandemic. After the inauguration, Swami Divyarupananda felicitated all 65 workers who were connected with the construction of the building. Members of the Ashrama Managing Committee and very few devotees attended the programme. After felicitation, Sri Ramnam Sankirtan was sung by the monastic members of the Ashrama. Prasad was distributed to all in the afternoon.
