National Youth Day 2022: Hatamuniguda

Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda celebrated National Youth Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav were celebrated on the Ashrama premises. The programme started with the garlanding of Swamiji’s statue amidst Vedic Chanting. This was followed by a public meeting attended by students, teachers and others in a very restricted way following Covid19 protocol.
As many as 8 speakers, including some youth, discussed the Life and Message of Swamiji with special reference to his impact on the Freedom Movement of India. Shri Sudarshan Rath, Formerly Principal, Maa Markama College, Bissamcuttack was the chief guest. The programme also included recitation of Swadesh Mantra and devotional songs etc. State Level online Quiz, Elocutions and Essay competitions were held among the school and college students. A total of 375 students from 15 institutions participated in the competition.
