Swami Ramakrishnananda (Shashi Maharaj) came to Chennai on this day 125 years ago i.e. 17 March 1897.
To mark this event Ramakrishna Mat, Chennai organized a programme. Most Revered Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj gave the benedictory address. Several Sadhus and devotees spoke at the occasion. Special arati was performed to Sri Sri Guru Maharaj at the Temple. Monastic Brothers of all ashramas in Chennai participated in the program. More than 200 devotees participated and partook cooked prasad.
