Both the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission conducted welfare work in the year 2014-15 by providing the following to needy persons.

4 Educational Kits contained books, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, geometry boxes, rulers, uniforms, etc
The Math and the Mission spent Rs. 11.74 crore and 4.80 crore respectively for these purposes. This was in addition to the huge sums spent by our educational institutions for the benefit of poor students, and by our hospitals and dispensaries for the treatment of poor patients.
