Ramakrishna Mission Jaipur organized an Essay competition on 24 July 2022 to celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava’ an initiative by the Government of India to commemorate seventy five years of Indian Independence. A total of 132 students from more than twelve schools in Jaipur participated very actively. The students were divided into four groups according to their classes from class five to twelve. Every group was given a topic in advance.
The topics chosen were as follows:
1. My Dream India (Class 5-6)
2. Unsung Heroes of Indian Freedom Struggle (class 7 – 8)
3. Indian Women: Before and After the Independence (class 9 – 10)
4. Swami Vivekananda’s Vision of an Ideal India (class 11 – 12)
After the competition, every student was given a certificate of participation and inspiring book from RKM literature and a snacks box. Swami Devaprabhananda presented the Certificate and books to each and every participant.
