Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar organized a Youth Convention on 14 August 2022 as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, dedicated to Swami Vivekananda. 270 students from the surrounding villages participated in this programme. Swami Lokottarananda ji., Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Kamarpukur, & Trustee, Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, and Sri Rajiv Bag, Principal, Indas College were the Chief Guest and the Special Guest respectively. Smt Rina Bhowal, Principal, Nursing College, Rasulpur also spoke on the occasion. Besides the speeches, Swadesh Mantra Paath, devotional songs on Swami Vivekananda, and speeches by the students followed by a Quiz Contest were the contents of the programme.
