The 76th Independence Day of India was celebrated in the school of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda, with due solemnity. Ms. Sugyani Sahoo, IIC, Muniguda Police Station hosted the National Flag and addressed the gathering.
On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a special lecture on “Use of Social Media – A Challenge before the Youths” was organized in the evening. It was delivered by Shri Akash Chandra Sahoo, Sub Divisional Police Officer, Bissamcuttack. In his lecture Shri Sahoo discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using social media and advised the students to be cautious while using it.
He also gave away Medals and Certificates to the Winners of SilverZone Olympiads.
About 750 people attended the program.
