Ramakrishna Mission Nabadwip published a book on 19 August 2022 on the eve of Sri Krishna Janmashtami naming “Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip : Utsa Theke Mohona (রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন, নবদ্বীপ : উত্স থেকে মোহনা) ” The book was virtually inaugurated by Most Revered Suvirananda ji Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math.
The book contains the history of Nababwip Ashrama in this pious land of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu since its inception in 1936 to its reappearance as a branch centre of Ramakrishna Mission. History of many age old temples of this Heritage City and also routes have been depicted in this book for the pilgrims.
Dr. Siharan Chakraborty, President of Nabadwip centre is optimistic that the book will be regarded by the readers. Sri Shantiranjan Deb, Secretary, Nabadwip Puratatwa Parishad and Bhagbatbhushan Sri Gorachand Bhattacharya praised the initiative by saying that it will be of great help in research work on the history of Gourdham Nabadwip.
