The inauguration of newly built “Infosys Foundation Doctors’ Quarters” by Swami Bodhasaranandaji Maharaj on 27 November 2016 followed by a public function went on very well. The new building houses two family quarters in the ground floor, a guest house in the first floor to accommodate the doctors who come for the medical camps as well as the devotees.
The function started with vedic chanting and opening song by Swami Atmajnanandaji, welcome address by Swami Bodhaswarupananda, Revered Swami Bodhasaranandaji Maharaj gave inaugural address. Revered Swamis Jagadatmanandaji, Veetabhayanandaji & Raghaveshanandaji gave benedictory addresses, Swamis Maheshatmanandaji, Tyagishwaranandaji, Sri K.P. Uthappa( Ex-chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan,Madikeri) gave talks during the function. Sri Sri Shantamallikarjuna Swamiji, Pithadhipathi of Sri Kalancheri Math, Arameri, Virajpet also participated and gave a talk on the occasion. Swami Parahitanandaji gave vote of thanks. Zilla Panchayat President Sri B.A. Harish who was supposed to be the chief guest could not attend the function owing to sudden demise of a relative of his.
About 20 sadhus-brahmacharins, hundreds of devotees,well-wishers participated in the function. There was special pujas performed by purohits on 26th as well as on 27th. There was also a special puja with homa to Sri Guru Maharaj performed by Swami Vishwavidanandaji of Mysore centre in the new building on 27th November.
The engineers, Contractors and construction workers were felicitated during the function. All the participants were given lunch prasad.
