Swami Suvirananda, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, along with Sri Chowna Mein, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh unveiled a twelve feet statue of Bhagavan Buddha, and laid foundation stone for a 1000 capacity Convention Hall on 23rd January 2023 – the sacred birth tithi of Swami Brahmanandaji Maharaj.
Revered Maharaj also joined Hon’ble Deputy CM in unveiling a plaque naming a 2.8 km stretch of new road on the southern end of Ramakrishna Mission campus as ‘Vivekananda Marg’, and presided over a Public Meeting on that day organized to mark 125th Birth Anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission and to celebrate Golden Jubilee (Phase-II) of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar clubbed with Annual Prize Giving Ceremony of the school. Several other dignitaries like Hon’ble Minister for PHE & WS, DoTCL – Shri Wangki Lowang, Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh – Shri Dharmendra, Principal Secretary – Shri Kaling Tayeng, Chief of Borduria and MLA – Shri Wanglin Lowangdong, two other local MLAs Shri Wanglam Sawin and Smt. Chakat Aboh of the region also addressed the gathering. About two thousand people attended the public meeting.
On 24th January 2023, Revered General Secretary Maharaj laid the foundation stone for three blocks of staff quarters. In the same afternoon Revered Maharaj gave benedictory address for outgoing students (Class X & XII) of Narottam Nagar.
On 25th morning revered maharaj launched our new website narottamnagar.rkmm.org . Revered Maharaj gave brief benedictory address to the tribal devotees at Mopaya villagers who had organized a cultural programme in honour of Revered Maharaj.
Revered Maharaj visited a Private Centre at Margherita on 25th January afternoon and addressed devotees at our Digboi centre on 25th evening.
