Apart from the educational and cultural programmes for students conducted by our educational centres, some of our Mission and Math centres have separate recreational and cultural centres called Balak Sanghas (for children) and Yuvak Sanghas (for youths) in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Chennai (Math), Halasur (Ulsoor), Hyderabad, Indore, Kankurgachhi, Malda, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Ponnampet, Pune, Rajkot, Ranchi (Morabadi), Salem, Shivanahalli, Vijayawada, and a few other places. Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa: In all, 184 units of the Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa, an integrated child development project aimed at all-round development of poor children in backward areas and slums, were run by 23 Math centres and 56 Mission centres. Out of these, 166 units were funded by the Headquarters which spent Rs. 5.20 crore. Children were given coaching on their school subjects and classes on values education and music were held.  They also took part in daily prayer, sports and games.  Milk and other nutritious food, dresses, stationery items, educational aids, toiletry, etc were provided to children and occasional health check-ups were held.
