Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady celebrated Sri Shankara Jayanti on 25 04 2023 in a traditional way with special Puja to Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Sankaracharya, Homa, and Special Bhog Arati. Morning and evening there were special bhajans, Vedic chanting, and recitation of Shankara stotras. After Bhog Arati cooked prasad was served to all.
There was a grand procession organized by the local body in connection with Shankara Jayanti, Children dressed as Sri Shankaracharya and the procession passed through our Ashrama and stood for some time and sweets and water were distributed to the devotees who took part in the procession.
