Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Smriti Mandir, Khetri organized a value education initiative to spread the inspirational life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The event was held twice a week from August 6 to September 27, 2024, and was open to students in grades 8-10 from schools in the Khetri block.
Key activities included:
- Free Museum Visits: Participants explored the Ajit-Vivek Museum to learn about Swami Vivekananda’s life and influential messages.
- Engaging Quiz Competitions: Students were tested on their understanding of the museum’s content.
- Inspirational Documentary: A film showcased Swami Vivekananda’s life.
- Guidance and Discussion: A discourse provided insights and fostered discussion.
Recognition and Rewards:
- Participating schools received mementos.
- All students, including quiz winners, were rewarded with books and pens.
- Refreshments were provided to all attendees.
Overall, the event was a success, with 1025 students and 112 teachers from 68 schools participating. It provided a valuable opportunity for young minds to learn about Swami Vivekananda’s legacy and be inspired by his teachings.
