On Tuesday, 9 January 2018, Brahmanandodayam Schools (High, Upper and Lower Primary), Kalady, conducted its Annual Day Celebration at the School playground. There was a public meeting at forenoon. Programme started with Math flag hoisting. Prayer song was conducted by students. Welcome address was given by a Headmaster, High School. Annual report was presented by Upper Primary, Headmistress Smt. Jayasri. Swami Srividyananda presided over the function and addressed the gathering. Ceremonial lamp was lighted by the chief guest Dr. Dharmaraj, Vice-Chancellor, Sri Sankara Sanskrit University, Kalady. Advocate Dr. Tulasi, President, Kalady Grama Panchayat delivered a special address. Felicitations were given by Smt. Biju, Ward member, PTA President, PTA Vice-president, Lower Primary Headmistress and Students’ representatives. Vote of thanks was given by Smt. Jayakumai, Principal, BHSS.
Afternoon, colourful cultural events were conducted by Students. Cultural programme included Dance, Drama on 1) Swami Vivekananda and 2) Tadakasur Badha, Devotional songs, group dance, traditional folk dance and Solo rendering of Ramayana Katha etc. Programme ended with National Anthem.
