Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, conducted an awareness programme for parents of hearing-impaired children on 27 September 2023. The programme was conducted in a Government Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur. Around 40 parents attended this programme. Dr. Ushanandini Maniram gave the necessary advice on how parents should deal with such children and how to prevent the defects from passing on to future generations.
