Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kankhal, Haridwar, celebrated the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 13 and 15 August 2022.
A procession and a bicycle rally were planned for August 13th, 2022. Acharya Balakrishna ji of the Patanjali Yogpeeth and Shri Madan Kaushik, MLA of Haridwar, officially flagged off the bicycle rally and procession. Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, and Dr. D P Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, participated in the programme.
The hoisting of the national flag took place on August 15th, 2022. The national flag was hoisted in the presence of hospital staff, some managing committee members, devotees, and the public. Yoga demonstrations performed by Divya Prem Mission Students and Swamiji’s Swadesh Mantra was recited by all.
