Ramakrishna Mission, Indore, organized a Bal Sanskar Shivir for children aged 11 to 17 years, held from May 1 to May 30, 2025. The month-long camp featured sessions on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, arts and crafts, bhajans, Sundar-kand recitation, yoga, and sports activities like Kho-Kho. The children were also served fresh fruits such as bananas and oranges with their tiffins.
The shivir aimed to instill cultural values, moral awareness, creativity, and physical fitness in the young participants. Various competitions based on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, arts and crafts, and sports were conducted, with prizes awarded to the winners. A total of 35 children took part in the shivir, which was actively supported by three young volunteers of the Ashrama.
