Ramakrishna Math, Barisha, organised a Bhakta Sammelan on Sunday, 1st October 2023. Approximately 250 devotees participated in the programme, and it was a great opportunity for the devotees to engage in spiritual activities and learn from the esteemed Swamis.
The progamme started at 9 a.m and continued until 2 p.m. Respected Swamis — Swami Jnanalokanandaji, Secretary, Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre, Kolkata; Swami Shastrajnanandaji, Ramakrishna Mission, Narendrapur, and Swami Swagatanandaji Mj, Ramakrishna Math, Barisha, delivered their speeches on the teachings and philosophies of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Ma, and Swami Vivekananda. The devotees were filled with a sense of peace and contentment after spending the day in the ashrama. The Bhakta Sammelan ended with the chorus singing “Ramakrishna Sharanam”.
The devotees went back home after taking the noon prasad, with the feeling of being spiritually rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a wonderful spiritual event.
