On the auspicious occasion of the visit of Revered Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, a Bhakta Sammelan was conducted at Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi on 20th July 2025.
The programme commenced at 8.45 AM with the lighting of lamps and offering of Arghyas to the Holy Trio, accompanied by Vedic chanting. The event featured addresses by revered guests, japa and meditation sessions, devotional songs, and readings from Ramakrishna-Vedanta literature.
The function was presided over by Revered Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj. Swami Arunatmananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi, welcomed all and felicitated Revered Maharaj along with other revered and dear guests on the dais:
- Swami Achyuteshananda ji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar
- Swami Divyavratananda ji, Senior Monk, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Guwahati
- Swami Chandrakantananda, Monk, Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math
The morning session concluded at 1.15 PM with the distribution of cooked prasad to around 420 devotees and volunteers. This was followed by a question-and-answer session with the monks.
In the evening, a cultural programme was arranged in which Swami Divyavratananda ji rendered devotional songs for nearly one and a half hours, elevating the devotional atmosphere.
