Bhakta Sammelan: Naora, May 2024

On May 27th, 2024, Ramakrishna Math, Naora, organized a well-attended Bhakta Sammelan. The esteemed Swami Sarvapriyananda, Minister-Incharge of Vedanta Society of New York, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Uplifting Chants:

The program commenced with devotional bhajans sung by Swami Shivadishananda, setting a serene and uplifting tone for the event.

Practical Spirituality:

Swami Shastrajnananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur, delivered a thought-provoking speech. He focused on how to integrate the life and teachings of the holy trinity (Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda) into our daily lives for a more meaningful existence.

Words of Wisdom:

Swami Kripatmanana’s soulful reading of the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna further enriched the spiritual atmosphere.

Understanding the Divine:

The much-anticipated address by Swami Sarvapriyananda captivated the audience. He delivered a captivating speech titled “Understanding God” in Bengali, followed by an engaging question-and-answer session.

A Touch of Yoga:

Students from the Ramakrishna Math coaching center showcased their yoga skills, adding a unique touch to the program.

Gratitude Expressed:

Dr. Shuvendu Majumder delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to all attendees and participants.

Community and Sharing:

Approximately 450 devotees actively participated in the Bhakta Sammelan. The program concluded with a lunch (Prasad) served at noon.
