A ‘Blood donation camp’ was organized at Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani on March 23, 2024, in association with Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratisthan, Kolkata.
The program commenced with Vedic chanting at 10:00 am. A total of 88 (eighty-eight) donors, including 2 Brahmacharins, numerous volunteers (male and female), devotees, students, and members of the general public, donated blood. Notably, approximately 35 members from the 49 BN Battalion, NCC cadets, and NSS students representing four colleges under the Department of Physical Education, Kalyani University, also participated in the blood donation drive.
After donating blood, all donors were provided with a healthy tiffin. Lunch was also offered to all donors, volunteers, the medical team, and devotees.
