To commemorate the 131st anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago, Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, hosted three value education symposiums. Over 1,750 students from 28 educational institutions in Mangaluru participated in the three-day event, which included sessions on inauguration, talks, panel discussions, and interactive sessions.
The symposiums were categorized based on students’ academic levels: Prajna for professional course students, Shraddha for postgraduate students, and Medha for undergraduate students. All delegates were provided with refreshments, meals, certificates, and complimentary booklets on Swami Vivekananda.
Sri U T Khader, the Honorable Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, graced the event as the chief guest on September 13th.
