Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaleswar, organized a programme at Central Correctional Home (Kendriya Sanshodhanagar) to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo on 13 August 2022, on the occasion of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The programme was organised with the sincere co-operation of Correctional Home’s Director, Govt. of Tripura and Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal, Bishalgarh. The Programme starts from 12-30 pm continue upto 3-30 pm at Ananda Bhavan of Sansodhanagar and about 250 inmates attended the function.
Sri Nanigopal Saha, Secretary, Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal, Bishalgarh; Swami Indratmananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaleswar; and Justice Sri S. C. Das, Former Judge, High Cout of Tripura, spoke on the life and teachings of Sri Aurobindo;
A group of inmates took part in delivering songs and demonstration of yoga. The book “Sabar Swamiji” were distributed to 500 inmates.
