Ramakrishna Mission, Rourkela, organized a Children’s Orientation Program on January 19, 2025, to commemorate the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The program included a variety of engaging activities for young participants:
- Competitions: Students participated in a Recitation Competition, where they showcased their talent by reciting their favorite poems. Additionally, a Drawing Competition was held, with the theme “Any aspect of nature that imparts a valuable lesson.”
- Award Ceremony: Prizes and merit certificates were awarded to the winners of the competitions.
- Motivational Speeches: Inspiring speeches by monks and teachers encouraged the children to grow into responsible and dutiful individuals.
- Cultural Program: The event included a cultural program, enriching the experience for all attendees.
- Refreshments: A midday meal was provided to all children and their parents.
Approximately 100 students, along with their parents and teachers, participated in the program, making it a successful and memorable celebration of National Youth Day.
