Symposium on Interfaith Harmony
Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot organized a symposium on Inter-faith Harmony as a part of the 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses, on 11 Sep 2019, in the Ashrama premises (V.I.V.E.C. Hall) in collaboration with the Parliament of World’s Religions. This was approved as a Post-Parliament Event as a follow-up of the Parliament of World’s Religions held at Toronto from 1 to 7 November 2018.
Prominent Religious leaders of five major faiths presented the idea of inter-faith harmony from the viewpoint of their respective faiths. About 400 persons of different faiths participated enthusiastically.

Youth Convention
A Youth Convention on Hinduism for Modern Youth was organised by Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama Rajkot on 19 Sep 2019 as a part of the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses in which about 400 youths participated.
Shri Manoharsinh Jadeja, Deputy Police Commissioner of Rajkot inaugurated the youth convention and requested the students to read the books of Swami Vivekananda for their career development as well as character development.
Smt Pannaben Pandya narrated ideas of women empowerment available in Hindu scriptures.
Swami Nikhileswaranandaji spoke about the concepts of divinity and harmony of Religions inherent in Hinduism, all the participants were gifted the book Chicago Addresses.
