The New Temple at Ramakrishna Math Rajarhat Bishnupur, with the statue of Sri Ramakrishna, was consecrated on 31st August 2023, the Holy Janma Tithi of Swami Niranjananandaji Maharaj.
Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, consecrated the new temple.
Special worship of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Ma Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, and Homa was performed in the new temple. Sadhus and devotees walked in a procession with the photos of the Holy Trio in the Bishnupur locality.
A Dharma Sabha was held after the consecration of the new temple. Swami Vedyananda, Adhyaksha, Rajarhat-Bishnupur centre, delivered the Welcome Address. Swami Vimalatmananda ji, Adhyaksha, Yogodyan, Kankurgachhi centre; Swami Lokottarananda ji, Adhyaksha, Kamarpukur centre; Swami Muktipradananda ji, Secretary, Ramharipur centre, delivered speeches to the devotees. Swami Suhitananda ji Maharaj gave his benedictory speech. Swami Atmavratananda gave the Vote of Thanks.
Around 280 sadhus attended the Sadhu Bhandara, and 7000 devotees took prasad on that day.
After the Dharma Sabha, there was Baul Song, Ramayan Gaan, Musical Drama. After Sandhya Aratrikam, there was Jatra “Maharaja Harishchandra” by Sri Ramkrishna Ashrama, Nimpith.
