Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Coimbatore Campus, held its 19th Convocation on October 1, 2024. A total of 149 students received their degrees, including 33 from the Faculty of Disability Management and Special Education, 106 from the Faculty of General & Adapted Physical Education and Yoga, 6 from the Faculty Center of Computer Science Application & Research, and 4 from the Faculty of Agriculture, Rural & Tribal Development. The degrees awarded ranged from diplomas to Ph.D.s.
The prerecorded Chancellor’s address was played during the ceremony. The Convocation Address was delivered by Dr. Sudarshan Hanumappa, a social worker, tribal rights activist, and founder of Karuna Trust, Bengaluru. Swami Atmapriyananda ji Maharaj, Pro-Chancellor of RKMVERI, administered the pledge virtually. Swami Sarvottamananda ji, Vice-Chancellor of RKMVERI, delivered the welcome address.
