COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services by Ramakrishna Math, Pune


Ramakrishna Math Pune is continuing the COVID-19 pandemic relief services. The centre distributed 8000 N-95 masks to hospital in Pune & Pune doctors’ association and 3138 kg rice, 6894 kg flour, 2504 kg dal, 918 kg assorted spices, 733 kg rice flakes, 400 kg semolina, 1069 kg sugar, 1321 litres cooking oil, 500 kg groundnut, 33.10 kg tea leaves, 140 packet biscuits, 130 kg washing powder, 642 bars of soap, 125 kg onion, 68 kg potato among 1222 families in Pune and Ahmednagar district from 31 March to 23 April 2020.

In the wake of lockdown owing to COVID-19 pandemic Ramakrishna Math, Pune started relief services.

The centre distributed the following items among 516 families in the nearby area of Pune district from 2 April 2020 to 8 April 2020.

The centre distributed following items among 60 needy families at Sudumbure village, Naloni village and Malwadi village of Pune district on 4 April 2020.

On 2 April 2020, the Ashrama distributed grocery items to 100 poor families  (350  beneficiaries) through our Ahmednagar private centre.

On 3 April 2020, distributed  grocery items to 60 families ( 300 beneficiaries) through our Indori private centre.
