Rajarhat-Bishnupur: COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services

 


In the wake of lockdown owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ramakrishna Math, Rajarhat Bishnupur started relief services.

30 May 2020: The Centre served 1200 plates of cooked food ( Khichuri with Alur Dum) among poor & needy surrounding people of Rajarhat-Bishnupur in North 24 Parganas district.

The Centre distributed 1950kg. Atta, 1300kg. Potatoes, 650kg. Onions, 650kg. Sugar, 325kg. Refine Oil, 162kg. 500gram Soybean, 650packets Biscuits and 650pc.s Soaps among 650 families of Ghoshpara, Bishnupur, Battala, Bagu, Jamalpara, Shikharpur, Mallikati, Podra, Majherpara, Buroshibtala & Lauhati in North 24 Parganas district on  24 & 25 May 2020.

On 4 April 2020, the centre served 1400 plates of cooked food ( Khichuri with Alur Dum) among poor & needy surrounding people of Rajarhat-Bishnupur village.

On 26 April 2020, the centre distributed ration kits among 300 families in and around Ramakrishna Math, Rajarhat-Bishnupur.

On 19 April 2020, the Ashrama has served 1200 plates of cooked food among the poor and needy surrounding people of Rajarhat – Bishnupur.

On 9 and 10 April 2020, the Ashrama has distributed ration kits to 600 needy and poor people, by the help Coal India Limited through Belur Math.

On 6 and 8 April 2020, the Ashrama has distributed Khichuri Prasad amongst 1500 needy and poor people in the Ghoshpara area.

Each ration kit contains 5kg. rice, 3kg. potato, 1kg. masur dal, 1kg. sugar, 1kg. salt and 1pc. soap.

On 2 and 3 April 2020, the Ashrama has distributed rice, soap and mask among the needy and poor people of the Bishnupur area.
