In continuation to the COVID-19 pandemic relief services Ramakrishna Mission, Bilaspur ashrama distributed ration kits to 225 families in amtara and ramtala on 05 May 2020.
The ashrama distributed ration kits to 252 families of Bahtarai, Khamtarai in Bilaspur on 24 April 2020.
As on 9 April 2020, the centre has so far distributed 425 ration-kits. Ration kits have been distributed to under-resourced families of Birkona, Lodhi Para, Imlibhatha, Sarakanda and Koni in Bilaspur.
On 8 April 2020, ration kits were given to 40 poor families of Birkona and 24 of Koni (छोटी कोनी). Each ration kit consisted of 5 kg rice, 1 kg pulses, 1 kg flour, half a litre of edible oil, 1 kg salt, half a kilogram of sugar, 100 grams turmeric, 100 grams chilli powder and soap.
In the wake of lockdown owing to COVID-19 pandemic, Ramakrishna Mission, Bilaspur started relief services. The Ashrama distributed food kits and soap to 60 families in Atal Awas behind Bilasa Tal. Each kit consisted of 3 kg rice, 500 gms salt, 500 gms sugar, 50 gms turmeric powder and 50 gms chilly powder.
