Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara is continuing the relief services. The centre served 780 plates of cooked food in slums of Vadodara and distributed 3865 kg assorted fruits and vegetables, 100 litres milk packets, 1368 packets of juice, 1200 packets of snacks, 1000 packets of biscuits, 1075 bars of soap and 930 face masks among 2543 families in Vadodara district from 30 March to 30 April 2020. The ashrama distributed 1056 packets of Dabur Real Juices (1 litre) among needy people and distributed 200 bars of Dettol hand soap, 200 face masks in Vadodara district from 16 April to 19 April 2020.
The ashrama distributed the following items to the affected families From 1 April to 6 April 2020:
Cooked food distribution: The ashrama served 780 plates of cooked food in slums of Vadodara.
Ration Kit Distribution: The ashrama distributed 3865 kgs Green vegetables & fruits (Dudhi, cauliflower, Cabbage, Cucumber, Turai, Brinjal, tomato, papaya and banana), 500 ml milks pouches among 2365 families, in Vadodara district.
Sanitary and Hygiene Items Distribution: The centre distributed 875 bars of Dettol hand soap, 680 face masks in Vadodara district.
The Ashrama distributed 3 kilograms of green vegetables (Dudhi, Brinjal, Turai and Cucumber), 750 grams packets of Masala Rice & pickles, 1 bar of hand soap to 180 families on 3 April 2020
The ashrama has distributed ration kits containing 4 kilograms of green vegetables (Dudhi, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Brinjal and Cucumber), Packet containing 8 puri and fried potato curry, 500 ml milk pouch and 200 masks to 200 families on 2 April 2020.
The ashrama distributed ration kits containing 4 kilograms of green vegetables (Dudhi, Cauliflower, Cabbage and Cucumber) to 140 families on 1 April 2020.
In the wake of the lockdown owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara has started relief services. On 30 March 2020, the Ashrama distributed cooked khichuri to 200 people in a slum area of Vadodara. The Ashrama conducted the Covid-19 relief service with the kind cooperation of Vadodara Police Administration.
