In commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, Ramakrishna Mission, Kadapa conducted various competitions for the students between 6th to 10th standard in the month of July and first week of August.
In these competitions about 14000 students from 117 schools in Five districts of Andhra Pradesh (Rayalaseema Region) have participated and it is being conducted in three levels. Details given below.

Independence Day celebrations included National Flag hoisting, Chanting and Singing by students of Vivekananda Vidya Niketan (Ramakrishna Mission, Kadapa), speeches, Prize distribution.
Swami Chidrupananda of Chinmaya Mission, Delhi who was one of the guest speakers, while addressing the students stressed upon the necessity of studying Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions and also volunteers of this event were felicitated.
