On June 22nd, Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal, Manipur, witnessed a day of celebration. Revered Swami Girishananda ji Maharaj presided over two significant events:
- Dedication of a New School Building: The Uripok campus rejoiced with the inauguration of a new school building. This expansion will undoubtedly benefit the educational endeavors of the mission.
- Annual Prize Giving Ceremony: Revered Swami Girishananda ji Maharaj also graced the annual prize-giving ceremony. Around 300 students were recognized for their academic excellence and achievements in co-curricular activities. This ceremony serves as a wonderful platform to motivate students and celebrate their hard work.
Adding to the Day’s Significance: Sri Govindas Konthoujam, Minister of PWD & YAS, graced the function as the Chief Guest, further elevating the importance of the day.
In addition to these events, Reverd Maharaj also made a visit to the GAP project running at Ningthoukhong, KML, Bishnupur. This visit demonstrates his ongoing commitment to the mission’s diverse social welfare initiatives.
