On 17th August 2025, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kailashahar, organized a Devotees’ Conference centered on the lofty ideals of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 240 devotees and admirers, who gathered to draw inspiration from the lives and teachings of the Holy Trio. The conference was further sanctified by the divine presence of Swami Shubhakarananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar, Agartala, and Dr. Ashok Kumar Pradhan, a noted physician from Kolkata. The spiritual atmosphere of the programme uplifted all present, and it concluded with the distribution of prasad to about 275 participants.
Earlier the same morning, at 8:30 a.m., Swami Jnanavratananda ji, Treasurer of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, as well as the Manager of Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, laid the foundation stone of the new monks’ residence at the Ashrama with his holy hands, marking a significant milestone for the Kailashahar centre.
