On Sunday, 5th January 2025, Ramakrishna Math, Cooch Behar, distributed essential winter relief materials in Turturi Khanda and Raidak Gram Panchayats under Kumargram and Alipurduar-II blocks of the Alipurduar district. The items distributed included:
- 125 blankets (70 for males and 55 for females)
- 50 mosquito nets (19 for males and 31 for females)
- 110 saris (all for females)
- 53 sets of cotton wool sweaters, monkey caps, and socks (52 for males and 1 for a female)
- 172 jackets (135 for males and 37 for females)
- 40 sets of cotton wool sweaters (upper and lower) and socks for children (19 for boys and 21 for girls).
This initiative aimed to support individuals and families in need during the winter season.
