Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, organized a winter relief program from December 31, 2024, to January 2, 2025. During this initiative, 500 fleece blankets were distributed to underprivileged individuals in and around the Jalpaiguri area, providing much-needed warmth and comfort during the cold season.
On January 4, 2025, the program extended to Kadobari in the Sadar Block of Jalpaiguri District, where 165 beneficiaries received essential items. A total of 100 blankets, 50 saris, and 15 baby mosquito nets were distributed to support the needy in the community.
Further efforts were made on January 6, 2025, covering areas such as Kasiabari in the Haldibari Block of Coochbehar District and several localities in Jalpaiguri Town, including Jayanti Para, Dulal Dighi, Adarpara, Nivedita Sarani, and Station Para. This phase of the program reached 125 beneficiaries, who were provided with 100 blankets and 25 baby mosquito nets, ensuring relief and care for those in need.
