On 27 June 2025, Ramakrishna Mission inaugurated a Pecuniary Assistance Programme at its centre, with Swami Bodhasarananda ji Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, gracing the occasion.
Under this initiative, ten widows from economically underprivileged backgrounds were provided with essential food items and basic necessities. This support is extended monthly, and includes food articles, medicines, and/or direct financial aid, depending on the needs of the beneficiaries. The programme is being supported by the Headquarters.
On the inaugural day, the following items were distributed:
- Rice – 10 kg
- Pulses – 1 kg
- Oil – 2 kg
- Peas – 500 gm
- Sooji – 500 gm
- Sattu – 200 gm
- Salt – 1 kg
- Jeera Powder – 50 gm
- Turmeric Powder – 100 gm
- Soybean – 320 gm
- Toothpaste – 80 gm
- Bath Soap – 150 gm
- Biscuit – 956 gm
- Ration Bag – 1 piece
- Umbrella – 1 piece
- Sweets – 1 packet
