Ramakrishna Mission Nivedita Educational and Cultural Centre, Darjeeling, distributed groceries kits to 400 needy families in 12 villages of Darjeeling district — Kalyan Gaon, Suri Bari Gaon, Kera Bari Gaon, Mangol Puri Gaon, Rungneet Tea Estate, Patabung, Mount Valley, Ropeway Village, Goke-I, Bhutia Busty and Loptchu Tea Estate, from September 2021 to February 2022.
Each grocery kit contains : 8 kg rice, 1 ltr mustard oil, 1 kg masoor dal, 1 kg moong dal / chana, 1 kg salt, 1 kg soyabeans, 1 kg suji, 1 kg sugar, spices (jeera, haldi, chili, etc), milk powder, biscuits, noodles, bathing soaps, detergent soaps.
