Detailed Report:

On 1st May 2025, Ramakrishna Math, Vadodara, distributed free ration kits to 40 needy families in Bhuj. Each kit contained 6 kg of wheat flour, 2 kg of rice, 1 kg of mung fada, 1 kg of pulses, 1 kg of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, and 200 g of tea powder. The total quantity of items distributed on this occasion amounted to 240 kg of wheat flour, 80 kg of rice, 40 kg of mung fada, 40 kg of pulses, 40 kg of cooking oil, 40 kg of sugar, and 8 kg of tea powder, aggregating to 488 kg of essential provisions.

On 5th May 2025, the Math extended its relief service to 15 needy families at Adipur. Each family received a ration kit comprising 4 kg of wheat flour, 3 kg of rice, 1 kg of pulses, 500 ml of cooking oil, 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of sugar, 250 g of tea powder, 100 g each of turmeric powder, chili powder, and mustard (rai), along with one 100 g bar of bath soap. The cumulative distribution for this service included 60 kg of wheat flour, 45 kg of rice, 15 kg of pulses, 7.5 litres of cooking oil, 15 kg each of salt and sugar, 3.75 kg of tea powder, and 1.5 kg each of turmeric powder, chili powder, mustard, and bath soap.

On 23rd May 2025, Ramakrishna Mission, Vadodara, organized another round of relief for 25 blind families—20 families at the Ashrama premises and 5 families at Anand in Kheda district. Each ration kit contained 10 kg of wheat flour, 3 kg of rice, 1.5 kg of pulses, 1 kg of cooking oil, 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of sugar, 250 g of tea powder, and 100 g each of turmeric and chili powder. The total quantity of materials distributed on this day came to 250 kg of wheat flour, 75 kg of rice, 37.5 kg of pulses, 25 kg each of cooking oil, salt, and sugar, 6.25 kg of tea powder, and 2.5 kg each of turmeric and chili powder.

These relief efforts reflect the ongoing commitment of Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math, Vadodara, to serve the underprivileged with compassion and care, following the ideal of “Shiva Jnane Jiva Seva”.
