The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa and its Sub-Centres distributed 676kg rice, 285kg pea dal, 354.5 litres cooking oil, 424kg sugar beans, 162kg porridge, 142kg samp, 424kg sugar, 230kg salt, 434 canned beans, 142 canned fish, 264 cans of jam, 290kg mealie meal, 36900 tea bags, 274.6kg pasta, 591kg flour, 23.3kg chilli bite mix, 5kg semolina, 75.8kg soya mince, 298 litres juice, 308 litres milk, 104 packets soup, 104 packets of biscuits, 21.9kg mixed spices, 298 bars laundry soap, 350 bars toilet soap, 624 candles, 100 plastic buckets, 280kg potatoes, 160kg onions, 100kg carrots, 180 cabbages, 180 loaves of bread and 2970 cooked meals among 369 families in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Ladysmith, Newcastle, Chatsworth and Etete from 1 November to 28 November 2021.
