Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama Kalady conducted covid-19 Pandemic relief programmes for poor families and migrated labourers in and around Kalady and inhabitants of Pandupara forest range on 26 and 27 March 2021. Relief materials were distributed to 149 families of Kalady, 27 families of migrated labourers and 15 families of Pandupara village.
Each family received the following relief items:
Rice – 5 kg, Potato – 5 kg, Onion – 5 kg, Pulses – 1 kg, Chili Powder – 1 kg, Coriander Powder – 1 kg, Oil – 2 litre, Detergent Powder – 500gms,Detergent Soap – 3 nos, Bathing Soap – 3 nos, Lizol – 500ml, Harpic – 500ml, Lungi – 2 nos,and Nighty – 2 nos.
The majority of families who received these relief materials were poor villagers, labourers and tribals severely affected by the ongoing pandemic situation. The Following relief materials were provided by Sri Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady to a total number of 191 beneficiary families.
