On Sunday, September 29, 2024, the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol distributed 2105 new sarees, along with sweet and biscuit packets, to selected poor and needy mothers from 30 nearby villages, including Kalyanpur, Govindapur, Panchagachia, Chandrachur, Garui, Palashdiha, and Sitla. The distribution took place in front of the new temple premises as part of the Durga Puja celebration.
Swami Shivapradananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Vidyapith, Purulia, Sri Tapas Banerjee, MLA (Raniganj), Sri Amarendranath Chatterjee, Chairman of AMC, and other dignitaries were present at the event.
